"Last year we went to the Sziget Festival with a boat, the town had a special attraction on the hottest night of the summer. A mass of foreigners occupied the town with the biggest naturalism."

"I participated a recallable party on the Citadella a few years ago. Me and my girlfriends danced until dawn, we had a great time. After the party we walked down the Gellért Hill and laughed a lot until we got down. I’ve been there several times since then, the view is beautiful from the panorama hall."
Sight seed out, we decided on finding some arty and Bohemian area’s of the city. The tourist information pointed us out some streets in the Jewish part and off we trotted. The streets were full of big grand but shabby looking residential buildings and a few small shops. We turned down one street though and stumbled across something we didn’t know about, but apparently Budapest is famous for! Ruin Bars! Yes ruin bars, there great! In-between two buildings, where an old building would of stood, there was a bar and lots of old painted garden furniture! So we sat and had a drink outside in this cool place. Anywhere else this little bit of disused land would have been a small temporary car park! But here it was a garden bar!
"I went for the Hungarian Cup semi final with my friends. We won finally and continued the celebration afterwards, which lasted until dawn in the University of Social Economy’s Cellar Club at the Fővám square, having all seasoned with the fact that we met some players too and finally I got to know my girlfriend there, which was such a good effort or was so sensational that at about 2 in the night the DJ rewarded me with the “Kissing King of the night” title."
"The Cinetrip Sparty is being organised more and more often in the Rudas Bath. Being thankful for that, we can go to the party in swimsuit anytime during the year. We can choose from different music at four locations. In addition to that laser show, play of lights and synch swimmers create the good mood."
Gabriella from Budapest
"To get up there is an adventure itself. After the sight of the staircase full of bicycles shock comes your way, mysterious blazes and walls, milling under the stars and lemonade from scratched plastic glasses. The best music of the town is here, it is the best place for Saturday nights. The slogan on the face-book is the most effective: Corvintető, life is underground."
Emese from Budapest
"My best party experiences in Budapest link to the following places: Csendes Coffee house, Sziget Festival, skateboarding, bicycling on the Elizabeth square and family bike with Cycle Car known as Bringóhintó on the Margaret Island."
"The night I spent in the Rudas Bath will remain an eternal experience. The music went on, lights were flashing and everyone was dancing in swimsuits without control, in the water and outside the pool as well."
Ágnes from Budapest
Tip: Try night bathing in the Rudas Bath at the weekends from 10 pm until 4 am!
"I have been there lately on the concert of György Ferenczy and Rackajam, which concert, I have to admit was completely outstanding. Ferenczy mixes the rock and roll, the blues and funky with the Hungarian folk music on a world-class level. When the foreigners who were there heard the Hendrix tune with the text of the 150 years old Hungarian folk song titled the Kaszárnya Kaszárnya – Casern - Casern – got completely fascinated."
Attila from Budapest
“Budapest’s nightlife is among the best in the EU. It’s varied, it’s lively, and it’s hopping into the wee hours.”
Douglas Stallings, Budapest, Fodor’s, 2005
“The morning after a party. A good work out in Budapest’s healing waters should help clear the head. Aaaaaaah… There are some jaw-dropping tours of Budapest’s glittering night-scene. But whether in an organized party or independently, you won’t go short of choice. Budapest covers all the bases.”
David Block, The European Magazine, Spain
“The Hungarian National Accelerator. Unicum settles the stomach. Unicum keeps out the cold. But above all else Unicum is The Accelerator. Drink five beers and feel bloated. Drink five beers and whack back one Unicum and feel like five more beers – and several more Unicums. After that, forget the holes in the feet and walk across the Danube.”
Peterjon Cresswell & Dave Rimmer, Time Out Budapest Guide, 1996
